I cut my teeth on non-fiction television.
10 years, 10 shows.

I was a PA, a coordinator, and a researcher before I was graciously invited into the bull pen at MythBusters where I spent 5 years producing pop-science experiments alongside SPFX Artists Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage and our motley crew of mythfits. My job, as such, was to ponder the ridiculous, and every two weeks we were crafting a new experiment all in the name of science. It was a radically innovative show, hand crafted with integrity and joyful curiosity. My favorite myths included those involving zombie hoards, imploding railway tankers, custom built flamethrowers, high explosives, general daredevilry and flights to the edge of space in a U2 spy plane. I was twice nominated for an Emmy for my work on MythBusters.

In 2016, I was tapped to direct on my first show, White Rabbit Project, for NETFLIX. This 10 part series went down the internet rabbit hole to investigate the weird and wonderful events from pop-culture, science, and history - with topics as diverse as jailbreaks, super power technology, questionable heists, and crazy WW2 weaponry.

I would go on to direct on 5 more shows, including Savage Builds, a series on absurd engineering and the general curiosity of Adam Savage. In each episode he collaborates with friends and experts in their respective fields to produce one of a kind builds and experiences. From a real life Iron Man suit, a sword made of meteorite, and a casual laser tag dog fight in Peter Jackson’s vintage WW1 aircraft collection.

These shows were an incredible life experience and, if nothing else, I’m honored that they made science more accessible and inspired a generation to follow their curiosity. Plus, I’ll have some bitching stories to share at the senior center one day. x
